My story
My name is Christian Wilyat and I am a 3D Artist. Prior to relocating to my current home in Los Angeles, California I lived in Florida where I attended Full Sail University and completed a Bachelor's in Computer Animation as well as Game Art.
All my life I have had a passion for bringing the inanimate to life and tinkering with things to understand them better. I loved having any opportunity to put my thoughts and ideas out into the world. This resulted in a variety of mediums, from comedic skits with friends, to sketches and flip-book animations integrated into 3D software, to digital world building. This path of self-discovery in exploring my passion has helped hone my knowledge and expertise to know just how multi-faceted the creative industry is, and how my skills can help play an important role.
Non-Digital Art
There is something about the tactile nature of sketching that feels freeing to the mind. As the pencil touches paper, what was once only seen in the mind can now be seen by the eye.
My interest in drawing started when I was just a child, and is still present today.
2D in a digital way

After years of using just pencil and paper, I started exploring software that would allow my 2D drawings to jump onto the screen. This would help my ideas and work travel farther than they could in the tangible world.

Bringing the human touch to the digital allows for storytelling that sometimes the physical world will not allow.
Digital World Building
Recently I have shifted my attention more into bringing the audience into the digital world in a way that transcends reality.
